What's up SHMUCs
We are just past halfway in the 2018 season with eight races in the
books and six to go.
This Thursday we are racing at Rapids International, Ev Kamikawa's track
in Wauwatosa. Doors open at 6... unless Ev has other ideas.
This week the classes will be the regular Open class and the USA Cup.
The USA Cup will determine the final entrant of manufacturer body style
eligible for the World Cup. Currently Mazda and Porsche are eligible.
In the other two "Cup" events, Pete Dorn has been on the winning team
and scored bonus points. So, you might want to take a look and see what
Pete is running as you make your choice on Thursday night.
The point standings got mixed a bit with Steve Rist's first win in the
series but Mile Lack still sits on top after making every A Main and
capturing his second win of the season at The Shrine. It's been the
most competitive season so far with six different winners in the eight
races so far, and eleven different drivers making at least one A Main.
